Syntegon Technology GmbH in Spain seeks a Senior Accountant to provide high-level accounting support within the GBS organization, handling complex topics and ensuring IFRS compliance. You will lead month-, quarter-, and year-end closings, maintain general ledger integrity, manage intercompany and fixed asset reconciliations, and support audits while driving process improvements.

A university degree in Accounting or Finance, 10+ years in a GBS or international setting, and fluent English are

• University degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 10+ years as Senior Accountant in a GBS, BSSC, or international setting.
• Fluent in English.
• Experience with internal controls and IFRS.
• Driver's license and own vehicle.

Responsabilidades

• Maintains and reviews general ledger entries and reconciliations.
• Owns intercompany and fixed asset reconciliations.
• Drives timely month-, quarter-, and year-end closings.
• Supports audits with documentation and audit responses.
• Monitors internal controls and IFRS compliance.
• Identifies improvement opportunities and promotes knowledge sharing.
• Ensures audit readiness at all times.
