Making Science Group S.A. in Madrid is seeking a Senior Accountant Consultant to lead financial accounting, reporting, and controls.

You will own general ledger integrity, manage month-end closes, oversee statutory compliance, and partner with cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in accounting or financial advisory, IFRS knowledge, strong SAP and Excel skills, and professional English.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in accounting, audit, or financial consulting, international exposure ideal.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and local statutory requirements.
• Advanced SAP and Excel skills; BI tools a plus.
• Professional English proficiency (C1 or higher).
• Proven ability to translate complex financial data into actionable recommendations.

Aufgaben

• Own general ledger integrity, AP/AR, fixed assets, accruals, and bank reconciliations.
• Lead monthly/quarterly/annual financial reporting in line with IFRS and local regs.
• Strengthen controls, coordinate internal/external audits, and optimize processes.
• Partner with Finance, Operations, and Strategy to drive budgeting and forecasting.
• Drive system improvements and end-to-end accounting initiatives using SAP.
• Mentor junior staff and manage cross-functional stakeholders.
