Four Seasons Hotel Madrid is seeking a Security Supervisor to oversee day-to-day security operations, protect guests, staff and property, and lead the team across shifts. The role requires leadership, strong communication, and a proactive approach to safety and risk management.

The ideal candidate has two years of supervisory security experience, is bilingual in English and Spanish, and holds First Aid/CPR and Defibrillator certifications or equivalent.

Formación

• Two years experience of public or private security in a supervisory/managerial capacity.
• A TIP Director of Security is required.
• First Aid, CPR and Defibrillator Certification is preferred.
• Fluency in English and Spanish; legal right to work in Spain.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise the shift safety & security operations, ensuring patrols meet coverage requirements.
• Check that fire and life safety equipment are within expiry limits.
• Promptly report maintenance issues observed by safety & security staff.
• Conduct random bag inspections of associates; enforce asset control policies.
• Maintain perimeter patrols to ensure only authorized personnel within the hotel area.
• Attend common areas to greet guests and assist with deliveries as needed.
• Address guest complaints promptly and with courtesy to build goodwill.
• Take action to correct hazardous situations and notify supervisors of risks.

The Role of Security Supervisor:

Four Seasons Hotel Madrid is looking for a Security Supervisor to join our team. The Security Supervisor is responsible for managing the day to day security operation and ensuring the safety and security of all guests, residents, employees and property. The role includes risk, loss management of the property, as well as taking a lead in Work place safety and life/fire safety systems, preventing situations that could jeopardize the safety and operation of the hotel.

• Supervise the shift safety & security operations, ensuring adequate patrol patterns and frequencies are maintained to ensure the safety and security of guests and associates
• Responsible for checking all fire, life safety equipment are within the expiry limits (such as hand held chemical extinguishers etc)
• Ensure prompt reporting of maintenance issues by safety & security officers as they record them during their patrols.
• Conduct random bag inspections of associates entering and leaving the building. Ensure asset removal policy is adhered to, to prevent hotel assets being removed from the hotel without the proper authority
• Maintain perimeter patrols at points of entry and egress to ensure that all people within the hotel environs have a genuine purpose and are not loitering or are present for other reasons.
• Regularly attend to the common area where guests present and make guests feel delighted and secured. For examples, greeting guests at the club lounge, holding doors at the entrance, assisting with deliveries when necessary
• Take appropriate action to resolve guest complaints. Communicate with guests in a manner, which promotes goodwill, trust and satisfaction
• Initiate action to correct a hazardous situation and notify supervisors of potential dangers

Our Ideal Security Supervisor

As an ambassador of Four Seasons, our ideal Security Supervisor candidate will have strong leadership and communication skills and good problem-solving ability. Applicants are required to have two years experience of public or private security in a supervisory/managerial capacity. A T.I.P Director of Security is required. Applicants also are required to have a flexible schedule and the ability to work all shifts, weekends and holidays. First Aid, CPR and Defibrillator Certification is also preferred. Must have the legal right to work in Spain and have fluency in English and Spanish.
