Auctane, a global leader in mailing and shipping software, seeks a Director of Security Engineering to fortify our security posture across enterprise and cloud infrastructures. The role focuses on defining technology and processes for cybersecurity, and leading security architecture, engineering, and operations.

Based in Spain with US-overlap hours, you will guide risk-based decisions, build scalable security programs, and mentor a high-performing team in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.

Formación

• Master’s degree in cybersecurity or a related field; 12+ years in cybersecurity, with 3-5 years in a leadership capacity.
• Experience leading large-scale security programs and uplift of security across an organization.
• Expert level experience in Enterprise and Cloud security domains to develop threat detections and mitigation strategies.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and implement a comprehensive security engineering roadmap aligned with business objectives and risk appetite.
• Oversee security architecture design across network, infrastructure, and cloud environments.
• Hire, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of security architects and engineers.
• Identify security gaps and drive requirements, evaluation and adoption of security tools to build automation.
• Conduct threat modeling and vulnerability management to prioritize investments.
• Collaborate with IT, Product, Engineering, Legal, and Compliance to promote Secure by Design practices.
• Foster relationships to promote Security by Design throughout engineering and business.
