Auctane is seeking a Director of Security Engineering to fortify its global security posture. Reporting to the CISO, you will lead engineering and operations security programs across enterprise and cloud infrastructures, shaping technology and processes for secure by design practices.

The role is remote, based in Spain, with 10% travel and overlap with the US-based organization, demanding strategic leadership and hands-on oversight of security architecture, tooling, and automation.

Formación

• Master’s degree in cybersecurity or related field; 12+ years in cybersecurity with 3–5 years in leadership.
• Experience leading large-scale security programs and influencing organization.
• Expert level in enterprise and cloud security domains to develop threat detections and mitigation strategies.
• Proven ability to manage stakeholders and drive strategy.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, AWS/GCP security.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and implement a security engineering roadmap aligned to business goals.
• Oversee security architecture across network, infra, and cloud.
• Hire and mentor security architects and engineers.
• Lead security tools selection and automation initiatives.
• Conduct threat modeling and vulnerability management.
• Collaborate with IT, Product, Legal, and Compliance on Secure by Design.
• Promote Security by Design across engineering and business.
