Auctane is seeking a Director of Security Engineering to lead security programs spanning enterprise and cloud infrastructures. You will shape technology and processes governing cybersecurity, secure global engineering, and oversee security architecture, engineering, and operations.

The role is remote in Spain with required overlap hours for US-based teams and up to 10% travel. You will build and mentor a high‑performing security team and drive Secure by Design initiatives across the organization.

Formación

• Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related technical field.
• 12+ years of progressive experience in cybersecurity with 3–5 years in leadership.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and implement a comprehensive security engineering roadmap aligned with business objectives and risk appetite.
• Oversee security architecture across network, infrastructure, and cloud environments.
• Hire, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of security architects and engineers.
• Identify security gaps and drive requirements, evaluation, and adoption of security tools to build automation and efficiency.
• Conduct threat modeling and vulnerability management to prioritize investments.
• Collaborate with IT, Product, Engineering, Legal, and Compliance to promote Secure by Design practices.
