Qdrant is a remote-first company building the vector search infrastructure for AI applications. We are seeking a Mid-Level Security Engineer to own hands-on security work within our Cloud Engineering team, reporting to the Security Officer, and driving remediation across the product and engineering org.

You will triage vulnerability reports, secure code across Rust, Go and Python tooling, and design secure defaults and tooling to make security the easy path for engineers.

Formación

• 3+ years in hands-on security engineering or vulnerability management.
• Ability to read and navigate unfamiliar codebases (Rust, Go, Python).
• Experience triaging vulnerability reports or bug bounty programs.
• Knowledge of cloud and container security (AWS, Kubernetes).

Responsabilidades

• Run our public bug bounty program: triage reports, reproduce and validate findings, communicate with researchers, drive remediation to closure.
• Investigate reported vulnerabilities at the code level in Rust, Go and Python tooling.
• Provide tooling, defaults, documentation, and guidance so security is the easy path for engineers.
• Partner with engineering teams to design, review, and verify fixes, and set security requirements on changes.
• Harden and maintain GitHub org security posture with secret scanning, push protection, branch rules, and alerts.
• Monitor, investigate, and respond to security alerts across AWS, Kubernetes, CI/CD and related infra.
• Track and report security metrics for the Security Officer.
• Build security automation and guardrails across development lifecycle (CI/CD checks, policy-as-code).
• Support security incident response, containment, remediation, and follow-up.
• Maintain auditable records of vulnerability and incident work.
• Participate in threat modeling and architecture reviews for new services.
