Job summary

intro is partnering with a major international fintech to recruit a Senior Security Engineer. You will shape security architecture across multi-cloud environments, driving AI-enabled threat detection, security automation and zero-trust principles.

You’ll own cloud security design, threat monitoring, and secure-by-design engineering, collaborating with platform, infrastructure and software teams to deliver scalable, secure infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in security engineering, cloud security or infrastructure engineering.
• Hands-on experience securing AWS and/or GCP environments.
• Solid understanding IAM, VPCs, network segmentation, firewalls, DNS, TLS and VPN.
• Experience with Terraform, IaC and automated security workflows.
• Scripting in Python or Bash; logging, SIEM and threat detection.
• Familiarity with CIS, NIST and ISO 27001.
• Strong communication and collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

• Cloud Security: Design, implement and continually improve security architecture across AWS and GCP.
• Threat Detection & Monitoring: Develop intelligent monitoring, logging and alerting capabilities.
• AI & Security Automation: Explore and implement AI-assisted security tooling and automated threat detection.
• Security-as-Code: Define and enforce cloud security baselines using policy-as-code and IaC.
• Network Security: Architect segmentation and secure communication between cloud environments.
• Web Application Security: Manage WAF configurations including AWS WAF and Google Cloud Armor.
• Zero-Trust Architecture: Implement identity-aware access controls and zero-trust security principles.
• DevSecOps: Embed security into engineering workflows with Terraform, GitOps and automated pipelines.
• AI Infrastructure Security: Secure AI/ML workloads and cloud-native services.
• Engineering Collaboration: Work with engineering teams to bake security in from day one.
