Amaris Consulting in Barcelona seeks a SCADA Lifecycle Engineer to manage the full PLC lifecycle across multiple pharmaceutical manufacturing sites. You will coordinate firmware updates, change management, and cybersecurity controls for PLC environments, while standardizing platforms and documenting lifecycle processes.

The role requires hands-on PLC experience with Siemens, Rockwell, Schneider Electric, Beckhoff, and SDA/Energchart, plus knowledge of Profinet, EtherNet/IP, OPC UA, and Modbus

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Automation or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience as PLC Engineer / Industrial Automation Engineer.
• Hands-on experience with PLC platforms and tools (Siemens, Rockwell, Schneider Electric, Beckhoff).
• Knowledge of Profinet, EtherNet/IP, OPC UA, Modbus TCP.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Linux and Windows Server environments.
• Experience with monitoring, identity & access management, patch management & DR tools.
• Ability to use scripting to automate PLC lifecycle tasks.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).

Responsabilidades

• Manage the full lifecycle of PLCs across multiple manufacturing plants.
• Coordinate firmware updates, software releases and change management for PLC environments.
• Implement access management, monitoring and cybersecurity controls for PLC/OT systems.
• Handle vulnerability management, patching, backup & restore and disaster recovery procedures.
• Standardize PLC platforms, templates and configurations across sites.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation related to PLC assets and lifecycle processes.
• Collaborate with OT, IT, manufacturing and vendor teams to ensure reliable PLC operations.
