International Industrial Machinery in Spain is seeking an Automation Engineer to join its engineering team. You will develop, program, commission and provide technical support for industrial automation systems, combining PLC programming, machine commissioning and remote customer support.

The role requires hands-on work with automation hardware, SCADA/HMI, and integration of third‑party equipment across international projects, with travel about 30-40%.

Formación

• Degree in Automation, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Electronics or related discipline.

Responsabilidades

• Analyse, design and program industrial automation systems.
• Develop, modify and maintain PLC and SCADA/HMI applications.
• Commission and start up machinery at customer sites.
• Integrate third‑party equipment and systems into automated machinery.
• Troubleshoot automation, control and communication issues.
• Provide technical support to customers, remotely and on site.
• Work with Engineering and After Sales teams to resolve issues.
• Prepare clear maintenance documentation.
• Support continuous improvement of automation solutions and machine performance.
