Job summary

FOSSA is seeking a Satellite Operations Engineer to monitor, command, and maintain our satellite fleet. You will develop real-time software and internal tools to ensure reliable, scalable operations across ground, space and user segments.

Candidates should have a degree in aerospace/telecom/computer science, strong Python/LINUX skills, and English proficiency. A rocketry or CubeSat background is a plus, with a proactive, data-driven mindset.

Qualifications

• Degree in aerospace/telecom/CS or related field.
• Master's degree in Space/Telecom/CS or similar is desirable.
• Strong software development foundation and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Develop real-time, mission-critical software for satellite operations.
• Execute day-to-day operations of the satellite fleet.
• Build internal tools for telemetry monitoring, scheduling and alerts.
• Analyze satellite telemetry to assess fleet health and performance.
• Test and validate ground and space segment software/hardware.
