FOSSA in Madrid seeks an IoT Systems Engineer to lead development of IoT devices and ensure technical coherence across engineering teams. You will interface with satellite and ground segment groups, coordinating procurement, QA, and deployment strategies.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in IoT/LPWAN or Satcom, strong leadership, and fluent English. Location: Las Rozas, Madrid. Full-time, indefinite contract with international collaboration.

Who are we looking for?

FOSSA is actively looking for an IoT Systems Engineer that will join our Madrid team and lead the development and improvement of FOSSA IoT devices and ecosystem. This person will be responsible for the technical coherence of the solution and for the interfacing with satellite and ground segment teams.

You will manage and lead a multidisciplinary team across multiple disciplines and geographies, including mechanical design, electronics, manufacturing, embedded software, Fullstack, QA and technical support, reporting directly to the CTO, the PMO and Executive Management.

Responsibilities:

Lead the end-to-end development of IoT devices: from concept and prototyping to industrialization and large-scale deployment.

Manage a multidisciplinary team of engineers (embedded software, electronics, telecommunications, QA, and support).

Ensure technical coherence across all engineering disciplines involved in IoT development.

Design and implement procurement, QA, and integration strategies for mass manufacturing and deployment.

Oversee customer technical support operations.

Collaborate with satellite and ground segment teams to ensure seamless integration with FOSSA connectivity infrastructure.

Coordinate with the companys headquarters in Spain to align product development and deployment strategies.

Profile:

Engineering background with experience on systems development, preferably IoT, LPWAN Tech and / or Satcom systems.

5+ years of related working experience.

Demonstrated leadership and team coordination skills.

Demonstrated experience on technical integrations and technical support with external companies.

Full professional proficiency in English.

Preferably:

Experienced on full technical development cycles, from idea to production and deployment.

Interest in Space or IoT sectors.

Location: Las Rozas, Madrid.

Full Time, Indefinite contract.
