FOSSA Systems in Madrid is seeking a Satellite Operations Engineer to lead and coordinate satellite operations. The role involves developing real-time software solutions and enhancing fleet productivity in a dynamic environment.

Formación

• 3+ years of relevant experience in satellite operations.
• Proficiency in software development, particularly in Python or similar languages.
• Basic understanding of telecommunications concepts related to space and IoT.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate and execute development of real-time software for satellite operations.
• Run and coordinate the Operations team.
• Drive improvements to fleet capacity and productivity through enhancements.

Conocimientos

Software development proficiency in Python or similar

3+ years of relevant experience

Full professional proficiency in English

Database experience including MySQL

Familiarity with LINUX environments

Understanding of telecommunications concepts

Experience coordinating resources with engineering teams

Practical expertise in data analysis

Hands-on experience operating spacecraft or remote systems

Familiarity with satellite communication protocols

Educación

Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Telecom Engineering, or Computer Science
