Santander Corporate & Investment Banking invites graduates to join the Future Talents program in Europe as part of the Investment Banking Advisory (M&A & ECM). You will execute strategic transactions and gain exposure across Europe, working with top professionals and gaining strong financial, analytical and commercial skills.

The program is based in Madrid and London, offering live transactions, immersive training, and opportunities to grow within a global network.

Formación

• Recent graduate in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics or related fields.
• High proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Strong analytical and collaborative skills; advanced Excel and PowerPoint.
• Sound financial modelling and valuation knowledge.
• Prior internship in finance, investment banking or corporate finance desirable.
• Strong interest in M&A, ECM and corporate finance.

Responsabilidades

• Participate in the execution of strategic transactions and advisory projects across Europe.
• Assist with sector and company analysis across Santander’s Global Industry Groups.
• Support Equity Capital Markets transactions and private placements across markets.
• Prepare financial models, valuation analyses, pitch books and internal materials.

This international program is designed for recent graduates with a strong academic background, a high level of English and a keen interest in investment banking. You will work alongside global professionals, gain real-world exposure and develop the technical, analytical and commercial skills required to advise clients on complex strategic and capital-markets transactions.

For this year's edition, the vacancies within these teams will be based in the following locations: Madrid and London.

THE DIFFERENCE YOU MAKE

As part of the Santander CIB Graduate Program Europe – Investment Banking Advisory (M&A & ECM), you will participate in the execution of strategic transactions and advisory projects across Europe. Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting M&A transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, restructurings, valuations, transaction structuring and negotiations for corporates, financial institutions and sponsors.
• Contributing to sector and company analysis across Santander’s Global Industry Groups: Energy & Energy Transition, TMT, Infrastructure & Industrials, and Consumer, Healthcare & Real Estate.
• Supporting Equity Capital Markets transactions, including IPOs, follow-on offerings, equity-linked solutions and private placements across developed and emerging markets.
• Preparing financial models, valuation analyses, pitch books, market updates, transaction materials and internal committee documentation.
• Collaborating with senior bankers, product specialists, legal advisers and other stakeholders throughout transaction execution.
• Potentially supporting the Growth Capital Investment Banking team in advising high-growth private companies on capital raising and flexible financing solutions.

• University degree: Recent graduate in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics or other fields are welcome. We encourage candidates from all academic backgrounds to apply, even if their degree or previous experience is not directly related to finance.
