Santander Corporate & Investment Banking invites applications for the Santander Future Talents: Global Transaction Banking Summer Program in Madrid. This internship targets students entering their final year who want hands-on exposure to transactional banking and client solutions.

You will help develop GTB solutions across Cash Management, Export & Agency Finance, International Financial Institutions, and Trade & Working Capital. Strong English and quantitative skills are essential.

• Currently studying Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, Data, International Business or related field and expected to graduate in summer 2028.
• High proficiency in English; any additional language is a plus.
• Interest in finance, transactional banking and solutions for corporate and institutional clients.
• Open and collaborative approach in a multicultural environment, with strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Comfortable using artificial intelligence and digital productivity tools responsibly.
• Available to complete a full-time summer internship from June or July to August or September 2027, depending on country.

This program is designed for students who will enter their final year of university after the internship and are studying Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, Data, International Business or related fields. You should have a high level of English and a strong interest in transactional banking, client solutions and innovation.

THE DIFFERENCE YOU MAKE

As part of Santander Future Talents: Global Transaction Banking Summer Program, you will support the development and execution of solutions across GTB’s main product areas. Some of your responsibilities will be:

• Cash Management: support solutions that help clients optimize liquidity, treasury processes, payments and cash-flow efficiency.
• Export & Agency Finance: contribute to financing and risk-mitigation solutions for cross-border capital expenditure transactions and international investments.
• International Financial Institutions: support transactional solutions for banks and non-bank financial institutions in an evolving global payments landscape.
• Trade & Working Capital Solutions: contribute to innovative trade finance and working-capital solutions that improve liquidity, resilience, risk management and operational efficiency.
