Descripción del empleo

Description

At Amazon, we are working to be the most customer-centric company on earth, where customers can find and discover anything they might want to buy online. Same Day is where that promise moves fastest. It is the speed frontier of Amazon delivery: customers order and receive their items within hours, on the same day, through a purpose-built network of Same Day sites and last mile operations. It is one of the fastest-growing parts of the business, with EU volumes set to grow by nearly 40% between 2026 and 2029. Delivering that growth depends on how well we plan, experiment, and scale, and Same Day Program Excellence sits at the center of it: turning data from across the network into the insights, mechanisms, and program governance that ensure the planning teams scale at pace with the business, so operations and capacity teams can build capacity, control cost, and delight customers with unmatched speed over the next five years.

The goal of Amazon Logistics (AMZL) is to build a world class last mile operation, exceeding the expectations of our customers by ensuring that their orders are delivered as quickly, accurately, and cost effectively as possible.

We are now looking to hire a passionate, dynamic, analytical, innovative, hands‑on and customer‑obsessed candidate to drive program excellence for the EU Same Day network. The Same Day Program Excellence lead (Analyst III) acts as the owner of the initiatives that sharpen how we plan and deliver, from data visualization to speed‑and‑cost trade‑offs to experiments that scale the business. They transform ambiguity into a structured plan, engage with the required teams to drive and deliver, and form a business partnership with senior leaders and stakeholders across Same Day business, DEX, Operations, and capacity planning teams.

Key job responsibilities
  • Program‑manage the portfolio of new initiatives that improve data visualization, speed‑and‑cost trade‑offs, and experiments to scale how we plan and deliver Same Day across EU. Understand in depth how we plan, what the OP2 goals are, and what is required to deliver them.

  • Connect data from different sources and transform it into the inputs and signals the planning team relies on to make decisions.

  • Define metrics, develop program management mechanisms, and invent and simplify processes to drive decision‑making in complex, fast‑moving situations.

  • Communicate continuously with senior leaders and drive alignment across multiple stakeholders, transforming ambiguity into structured plans and engaging the required teams to deliver.

  • Anticipate risks across initiatives and drive mitigation before they impact plans, cost, or customer speed.

  • Own program management governance across Same Day business, DEX, Operations, and capacity planning teams, ensuring continuous improvement and adherence to lean philosophy at scale.
