Amazon Spain Services, S.L.U. is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to drive financial planning, forecasting and cost optimization across the E2E logistics network in Madrid. You will partner with cross-functional teams to provide trusted financial insights and shape strategy for growth and customer experience.

You will influence decisions through advanced analytics, build scalable finance tools, and mentor new teammates while supporting Month-End processes and business prioritization.

Formación

  • A degree.
  • Experience leading a finance project or programme and partnering with multiple stakeholders within a business.
  • Experience working with Excel, reporting tools and large-scale data mining tools, such as Power BI, Python, SQL, or Tableau.
  • Experience in financial modelling.

Responsabilidades

  • Use a range of metrics and models to forecast, link operational objectives to financials, and determine opportunities for improvement.
  • Explore data to ensure reporting accuracy, and share financial analysis with business partners to support strategic business decisions.
  • Produce a financial and operational plan to support business priorities, and lead on associated projects.
  • Support with training new team members and contribute to onboarding plans.
  • Maintain and build tools for your team to support knowledge sharing and help to standardise processes across EU teams.
  • Leveraging end to end fixed costs metrics to identify cost out opportunities by linking up operations and financials.
  • Owning the financial and operational planning and reporting processes and all Month-End-Close procedures including variance analysis between scenarios, (actuals, Plan, Forecast...).

We are looking for Senior Financial Analyst, that is constantly improving and reimagining the logistics industry. You should be passionate about using data to solve big, complex problems. Key job responsibilities

  • Earning trust of your business partners to influence and support tactical and strategic business decisions, driving business improvements and cost reductions
  • Owning the financial and operational planning and reporting processes and all Month-End-Close procedures including variance analysis between scenarios, (actuals, Plan, Forecast...).
Basic Qualifications
  • A degree
  • Relevant experience in a finance role leading a project or programme and partnering with multiple stakeholders within a business
  • Relevant experience working with Excel, reporting tools and large-scale data mining tools, such as Power BI, Python, SQL, or Tableau
  • Relevant experience in financial modelling
Preferred Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree in finance, Mathematics, or Economics
  • Experience troubleshooting problems and offering solutions to streamline complex challenges
  • Experience of working in a large team or fast-paced, corporate environment
  • Experience of making strategic business decisions and manage internal relationships
