Amazon is seeking a Logistics Scheduler (Night Shift) for the EU AMZL Central Operations Speed team in Barcelona. The role focuses on coordinating a complex cross-border transport network to ensure ultra-fast delivery to customers across EU cities.

You will forecast daily demand, plan routes, monitor volumes and drive improvements in service, cost and reliability. The position requires strong analytical skills, English proficiency (CEFR B2/C1) and solid experience with MS Office.

Formación

  • Experience in analytical tasks or projects, working with data.
  • Knowledge of English at CEFR level B2/C1.
  • Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Outlook, and Excel.

  • Plan delivery routes or monitor the volume flow, affecting tens of thousands of packages at EU level.
  • Accountable for planning accuracy, cost and customer experience; develop best practices and standard work for the network.
  • Ensure targets and service deadlines are met, according to regulatory requirements.
  • Communicate with various departments, facilitating information flow between stakeholders and resolving issues affecting business continuity.
  • Research process improvements and make real-time decisions with strategic perspective.
  • Maintain and report up-to-date statistics, management reports and analysis.

As a Logistics Scheduler in our Quick Commerce team, you'll be at the forefront of managing one of the most complex and dynamic transportation networks. Your role will be crucial in orchestrating seamless operations across our network of stores, each strategically positioned to serve customers within their local areas.

We're looking for individuals who embody our bias for action, can think big, and are excited about solving complex logistics challenges in real-time. You'll be part of a team that's building the future of retail, working across EU markets to ensure we maintain our promise of ultra-fast delivery to our customers.

The position offers a fixed work schedule (night shift), with rotating rest days throughout the week.

Key job responsibilities
  • Execute daily same day or next day forecasts.
  • Plan delivery routes or monitor the volume flow, affecting tens of thousands of packages at EU level.
  • You will be accountable for planning accuracy, cost and customer experience. In addition, you will be instrumental in developing best practices and standard work for the network.
  • Ensure targets and service deadlines are met, according to regulatory requirements.
  • Communicate with various departments, facilitating the flow of information between different stakeholders and resolving any potential issues that impact business continuity.
  • Conduct research into process improvement initiatives and taking real-time decisions by taking a step back at strategic intervals to take in the bigger picture.
  • Maintain and report up to date and accurate statistics, management reports and analysis
A day in the life

This position is office-based in Barcelona. As a Logistics Scheduler you will work across the EU in a cross-functional environment with the Supply Chain, Distribution Centers, and Ground Transportation teams, in order to support our day-to-day operations to ensure the timely delivery of shipments to our customers.

About the team

Within the Central Operations team, your role will be to focus on the last-mile Forecasting, Scheduling or Risk and Flow Team, playing a key role in our delivery stations operative supporting all EU countries.

Basic Qualifications
  • Experience in analytical tasks or projects, working with data
  • Knowledge of advanced English at CEFR level B2/C1
  • Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Outlook, and Excel
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, including your peers and leadership
  • Experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, import/export operations, or data entry/data administration
  • - Working experience on programming and coding languages (SQL or Python).
