Job summary

Accenture is seeking an Associate Director specialized in Finance Transformation to lead end-to-end initiatives, advising CFOs and senior finance teams and translating opportunities into executable programs.

The role operates from Madrid or Barcelona under a hybrid model, with a focus on GBS/GCC environments, AI-based transformation and international scope. Candidates must reside in Spain with the right to work.

We are looking for an Associate Directo r specialized in Finance Transformation , combining strategic vision, commercial capabilities and delivery experience.

The role is designed for a senior professional who can act as a trusted advisor to CFOs and Finance leadership teams, identify transformation opportunities and translate them into compelling value propositions and executable transformation programs.

We are particularly interested in experience across Finance Transformation, Finance Target Operating Models, Global Business Services (GBS) and Global Capability Centers (GCC), as well as the application of AI and Generative AI as levers to reinvent Finance processes and services.

The position is based in Madrid or Barcelona under a hybrid working model, combining remote working with office-based collaboration.

Candidates must reside in Spain and have the legal right to work in Spain.

Key Functions

• Lead end-to-end Finance Transformation initiatives, from current-state assessment and process analysis through Target Operating Model definition, transformation roadmap design and delivery.
• Design and transform Finance service delivery models within GBS and GCC environments, considering processes, organization, capabilities, data, technology, automation and AI to drive efficiency and business value.
• Drive commercial opportunities within Finance Transformation, engaging with CFOs and senior Finance stakeholders to identify transformation needs, shape solutions and articulate differentiated value propositions.
• Identify and shape AI and Generative AI use cases for Finance, assessing how they can be embedded into financial processes, operating models and service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic conversations with CFOs, Finance executives and other senior stakeholders around the reinvention of the Finance function.
• Define Finance Target Operating Models connecting processes, people, organization, governance, capabilities, data, technology and AI.
• Shape transformation opportunities into commercial propositions, business cases, roadmaps and executable programs.
• Combine business development responsibilities with delivery leadership, ensuring alignment between the value proposition presented to the client and the subsequent execution of the transformation.

Mandatory Requirements

• Professional experience leading or delivering Finance Transformation programs.
• Professional experience designing or transforming Finance operating models, including processes, organization and service delivery models.
• Professional experience within Global Business Services (GBS), Global Capability Centers (GCC), Shared Services or equivalent global service delivery environments.
• Professional experience combining commercial responsibilities with transformation delivery.
• Experience engaging with CFOs, Finance leaders and executive stakeholders, including opportunity identification and value proposition development.
• Experience shaping commercial proposals and transformation solutions within Finance.
• English proficiency at C1 level.

Preferred Requirements

• Experience delivering global transformation programs covering Finance and other corporate or operational functions such as Supply Chain or Operations.
• Experience designing, establishing or transforming Finance services within GBS/GCC environments.
• Experience applying Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, automation or advanced analytics to Finance Transformation initiatives.
• Experience transforming end-to-end Finance processes with a focus on efficiency, scalability and business value.
• Experience working in multinational environments and leading transformation initiatives with international scope.

Knowledge and experience in the use of Generative Artificial Intelligence and AI tools applied to the role are required, in line with Accenture’s commitment to the responsible and effective use of AI.
