Indra Group in Spain is seeking an RTOS Software Engineer with hands-on embedded software experience for microprocessor-based systems, RTOS environments, and space-related projects such as GNSS, to join our team.

You will design, implement, and optimize C and Python software for ARM-based platforms, contribute to system conception, and ensure DAL/DO-178C compliance through verification and documentation.

Formación

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of software development experience, preferably in the space sector.
  • Strong experience in C programming, ARM-based embedded systems, and RTOS environments such as VxWorks, PikeOS, or similar.
  • Experience with Design Assurance Levels (DAL) and DO-178C knowledge.
  • Python programming experience, software version control tools, and software quality validation processes.
  • Familiarity with ESA ECSS standards and GNSS concepts.

  • Design, implement, and optimize embedded software for RTOS-based platforms, ensuring high performance and reliability.
  • Contribute to system conception, specification, and design activities following systems engineering best practices.

  • Participate in software verification, validation, quality assurance, and configuration management processes.
  • Produce technical documentation and contribute to GNSS systems analysis and RF interference topics.

We are looking for a RTOS Software Engineer with experience in embedded software development for microprocessor-based systems, RTOS environments, and space-related projects to join projects focused on the design, implementation, validation, and optimization of reliable software for GNSS and space systems.

What will you do?
  • Design, implement, and optimize embedded software for RTOS-based platforms, ensuring high performance and reliability.
  • Contribute to system conception, specification, and design activities following systems engineering best practices.
  • Develop software in C and Python for ARM-based and other embedded platforms.
  • Support software development activities in compliance with Design Assurance Levels (DAL) and DO-178C requirements.
  • Participate in software verification, validation, quality assurance, and configuration management processes.
  • Produce technical documentation and contribute to the analysis of GNSS systems, signals, performances, and RF interference-related topics.
