Técnicas Reunidas seeks a Rotating Equipment Engineer to lead design, selection, and follow-up of rotating machinery while ensuring QA/QC and HSE compliance. You will support bidding, review vendor bids, and develop technical documentation for equipment specifications.

The role includes collaboration across disciplines, engagement in procurement and construction interfaces, and remote-friendly work arrangements with two days per week on-site. Relevant API standards knowledge is essential.

Responsabilidades

• Develop activities for design, selection and follow up of rotating machinery, ensuring QA/QC and HSE compliance.
• Provide technical support during bidding phase.
• Review technical tender documentation.
• Prepare rotating equipment technical documentation for inquiry.
• Review and evaluate machinery bids from Vendors.
• Support Machinery Lead in defining engineering requirements and interfaces with other disciplines.
• Prepare technical documentation for requisitions (e.g. mechanical data sheets).
• Support negotiation with vendors and review subcontracted engineering documents.
• Prepare technical tabulations and evaluations for rotating equipment submissions.
• After order award: follow-up engineering activities and interface with equipment/packages.
• Review and finalize all vendor drawings with other disciplines.
• Attend internal reviews and participate in inter-discipline meetings.
• Assist technical disciplines in engineering activities (utilities, layouts, 3D, routings).
• Provide support for expediting, testing, and document management.

We are looking for a Rotating Equipment Engineer

Main responsibilities:

The Rotating Equipment Specialist will develop activities for design, selection and follow up of rotating machinery, ensuring the compliance with the QA/QC and HSE requirements.

Tasks include:

• Provide technical support during bidding phase
• Review technical tender documentation
• Prepare rotating equipment technical documentation for inquiry
• Review and make technical evaluation of machinery bids received by Vendors
• Support Lead in defining cost evaluation for machinery and other equipment related to Machinery department
• Support Machinery Lead in defining engineering requirements and interface with other disciplines. Optimize engineering standards while ensuring minimal cost and simplification in compliance with the required performance
• Prepare technical documentation for requisitions (e.g. technical supply specification, mechanical data sheets)
• Support Machinery Lead in technical negotiation with vendors. Review and supervise subcontracted discipline engineering documents
• Prepare technical tabulation and technical evaluation for any type of rotating equipment submitted by Vendors
• After order award: follow-up engineering activities and interface assigned machinery equipment/package included in purchase orders
• Review, mark-up comments and finalize all vendor drawings, interfacing with other process or technical disciplines
• Attend to internal review activities and participate to inter-discipline review meetings
• Participate to and assist technical disciplines to perform engineering activities (e.g. utilities and electrical load list, layouts, 3D, routings)
• Provide support for expediting and testing activities
• Provide support for document management and certified final documentation
• Support Discipline Lead in the activity with Project functions including Procurement and Construction
• Support Discipline Lead to define Machinery Equipment construction inspection plan and during preparation of equipment weights and dimensions to assist Construction activities.
• Development Technology know how.
