Técnicas Reunidas (TR) is seeking a Quality Control Engineer for Piping Materials to join our Madrid team. You will review vendor documents, ensure compliance with design, manufacturing codes, and project specs, and support inspection activities across projects.

Required: experience producing/reviewing quality docs, knowledge of ASME/API/ANSI/NACE, NDT methods, strong English, and willingness to travel. We offer hybrid work with two days remote weekly and various benefits.

Formación

• Experience in producing/reviewing manufacturing and quality documents.
• Deep knowledge of ASME, API, ANSI, NACE Codes.
• Experience with materials used in Oil & Gas (Carbon Steel, Alloys).
• Knowledge of NDT methods (PT, MT, UT, RT, ET).
• Advanced English (B2–C1).
• Willingness to travel.

Responsabilidades

• Review Vendor manufacturing documents to ensure compliance with codes, standards, and project specs.
• Report to the Procurement QC Manager (Project) and Head of Inspection Department (Corporate).
• Review project manufacturing and quality specifications for inconsistencies or unusual requirements.
• Review and comment on Vendor documentation for Purchase Orders (e.g., Reactors, Columns, Vessels, etc.).
• Issue Technical Queries/Deviation Requests to the Client when needed.
• Support the Project Inspection Team in NCR resolution and manufacturing-related issues.
• Maintain fluent communication with Vendors to ensure understanding of comments and project requirements.
• Demonstrate strong communication and problem-solving skills.

We are looking for a Quality Control Engineer Piping Materials

Main responsibilities

• Reviewing all Vendor manufacturing documents (e.g. Manufacturing Purchase Specification, Inspection and Test Plan, Welding Dossier, Heat Treatment Procedures, Test Procedures, NDE Procedures) to assure that they comply with Design and Manufacturing Codes and Standards and with specific Project Specifications.
• Report to the Procurement QC Manager (Project) and to the Head of Inspection Department (Corporate).
• Review of Project manufacturing and auqlity specifications identifying inconsistencies, ambiguities, or unusual requirements that may impact cost or schedule.
• Review and comment on Vendor documentation for assigned Purchase Orders (e.g. Reactors, Columns, Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers, Air Coolers, Fired Heaters, Reformers, Package Units, Piping Material). The main reviewed documents are: Welding Dossier, Inspection and Test Plan, Manufacturing Purchase Specification, Heat Treatment Procedure, Hydro/Leak/Pneumatic Test Procedure, Visual/Dimensional Control Procedure, Ferrite Test Procedure, Hardness Test Procedure, PMI Procedure, etc.
• Issue Technical Queries/Deviation Request to the Client when needed.
• Support to the Project Inspection Team in NCR resolution, and manufacturing- related issues.
• Maintain a fluent communication with Vendors to ensure full understanding of comments and Project requirements, enabligh a smooth manufacturing process.
• Demonstrate strong communication and problem- solving skills.

Required profile and experience

• Personal organization skills
• Experience in producing/reviewing manufacturing and quality documents.
• Deep knowledge of ASME, API, ANSI, NACE Codes.
• Experienced in most used materials in Oil & Gas industry (Carbon Steel, Low Alloy Steel, Austenitic Stainless Steel, Duplex Stainless Steel, Ni Alloys, etc.)
• Knowledge on NDTs (PT, MT, UT, RT, ET)
• Advance level of english (B2- C1)
• Availability to travel.
