Job summary

The Hoxton Poblenou in Barcelona is seeking a proactive intern to support Rooms Operations during a 5–6 month period starting September 2026. You will contribute to housekeeping, front office, and engineering tasks while learning our hospitality standards in a vibrant city hotel.

You’ll receive a 500€ gross monthly internship allowance, meals during shifts, and a free night plus a meal for two on your first week. Training and team events help you settle in and thrive.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's in Hospitality Management or Tourism.
• Fluent in Spanish and English.
• Available for 5–6 months starting September 2026.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support across Housekeeping, Front Office, and Engineering.
• Liaise between departments to improve communication and support Heads of Department.
• Ensure smooth day-to-day operation of the Housekeeping department.
• Keep the department’s inventory accurate and up to date.
• Participate in cleanliness inspections to ensure quality standards.
• Adhere to cleaning, hygiene, and safety protocols.
• Assist in laundry management and administrative duties within the department.

Whatyou’lldo…

Provide hands-on support wherever needed, whetherassistingthe Housekeeping, Front Office, and Engineering departments or completing rotations across different operational areas.

Act as a liaison between operational departments to improve communication and provide support to Heads of Department.

Ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of theHousekeepingdepartment.

Keep the department’s inventoryaccurateand up to date.

Participate in cleanliness inspections to ensure compliance with established quality standards.

Ensure adherence to cleaning, hygiene, and safety protocols.

Assist in resolving operational issues related to Housekeeping, Front Office, and Engineering.

Support laundry management,lost and found procedures, and other administrative duties within the department.
