British American Tobacco Spain is seeking a Retail Activation Internship in Madrid within the Marketing/Trade Marketing team. You will perform market analyses, uncover untapped opportunities, and help implement marketing plans while collaborating cross-functionally to drive engagement online.

The internship offers hands-on experience in a multinational environment, exposure to brand planning, and opportunities to grow within BAT’s structure. Strong Excel/Power BI skills are expected.

Formación

• University degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Trade Marketing, Economics or related fields.
• Master’s degree in marketing, digital marketing, MBA or similar would be a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools including Excel and PowerPoint, Power BI.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

British American Tobacco Spain has an exciting opportunity for a Retail Activation Internship in Madrid.

This role is part of the Marketing /Trade Marketing team, and this experience will prepare you to work within a dynamic team and to develop practical skills in an excellent working and multinational environment. In this role you will be responsible for performing market and portfolio analysis, identifying untapping consumer opportunities amongst other tasks.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include

• Performing market and portfolio analysis.
• Identify respective issues / untapped consumer opportunities and support the development of responsive actions based on market data & consumer insight.
• Support the implementation of the marketing plan to ensure marketing objectives are achieved.
• Monitor, analysis and report on competitor’s activities.
• Support new product initiatives to be launched on the market across digital channels.
• Assist in the deployment of the brands’ brand plan through different campaigns, touchpoints & engagement mechanics online.
• Support the creative development process through continuous communication with internal teams and external agencies.

What are we looking for?

• University Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Trade Marketing, Economics or related fields.
• Master’s degree in marketing, digital marketing, MBA or similar would be a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools as Excel and PowerPoint, Power BI.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive mindset with a willingness to take ownership and drive initiatives forward.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
• Strong interest in retail, consumer experience, category management and visibility execution.
• Experience with data analysis and reporting is a plus.
• Previous internship experience in Marketing, Trade Marketing, Sales or Retail is desirable.
