Barcelona Supercomputing Center is seeking a specialist to contribute to data and software management across the TechBioLab for biomedical research. You will develop data management plans, support training, and promote FAIR data principles in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

This role focuses on research data governance, interoperability, and secure, reusable data infrastructures within a European context and in alignment with ELIXIR/INB initiatives.

Formación

• MSc in data science, bioinformatics, computer science, or a related field.
• Experience in data stewardship and research data management.
• Familiarity with FAIR data principles and data quality management.
• Knowledge of research software development and FAIR software principles.
• Fluency in spoken and written English.

Responsabilidades

• Develop data and software management plans for research projects.
• Support training activities and community engagement across TechBioLab.
• Promote FAIR data practices and data governance within projects.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across national and European initiatives.
• Ensure data security, quality, and compliance throughout project lifecycles.
