Barcelona Supercomputing Center seeks a Research Data Manager for FAIR data and software under the TechBioLab. You will contribute to data and software management plans, promote FAIR principles, and support multi-partner projects across Europe. Requires MSc in a related field and experience in data stewardship.

The role is based in Barcelona, within the Life Sciences Department, offering a full-time contract and strong training opportunities in a diverse, inclusive environment.

Formación

• Experience in data stewardship and research data management.
• Familiarity with FAIR data principles and good data quality practices.
• Familiarity with data analysis in R, Python or SQL.
• Understanding of regulatory requirements related to biomedical data management.
• Knowledge of research software development practices and FAIR software principles.

Responsabilidades

• Develop data and software management plans for research projects.
• Support data sharing and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.
• Promote FAIR data and software practices and assess quality.
• Contribute to data governance frameworks and standards.
• Provide training and support on data management tools and standards.
• Monitor developments in data management, FAIR data, and Open Science.
• Coordinate tasks and milestones across national and European projects.
