IRB Barcelona is seeking an enthusiastic Lab Technician to join the Molecular Modelling and Bioinformatics group in Barcelona. The role involves routine laboratory work, data recording and analysis, and supporting programming and database tasks within an international research setting.

We value strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent English communication. The position offers an opportunity to contribute to projects funded by Horizon Europe and to work at the interface

Formación

• Bachelor degree in Mathematics or Physics or similar required.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Highly motivated and collaborative person.
• Willing to keep on learning.
• Ability to work independently in a demanding research environment.

Responsabilidades

• Perform routine laboratory tasks, record and analyze data accurately.
• Assist researchers with projects and development/maintenance of group web-servers.
• Develop databases and provide support for programming tasks.
