GE Vernova seeks a ROC Technical Lead for Remote Operations Center (Wind Energy) in Barcelona. You will support safe, efficient operation of offshore wind assets from a remote center, coordinating with site teams and engineering experts to ensure turbines perform reliably across their lifecycle.

You will monitor performance, diagnose issues, and drive improvements, with travel up to 20% and a focus on structured technical communication in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Formación

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent wind-energy experience.
• Hands-on wind turbine or similar electromechanical systems experience in operational environments.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and apply them in troubleshooting and field support.
• Experience with SCADA systems and other digital monitoring tools.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
• Work on a rotating weekday shift schedule with on-call support during weekends and holidays.
