Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a ROC Technical Lead for Remote Operations Center (Wind Energy) in Barcelona, Spain. You will monitor turbine performance, analyze data, and lead remote diagnostics to keep offshore assets safe and efficient.

Collaborate with site teams and engineering experts, support commissioning and service phases, and contribute to continuous improvement while maintaining clear technical communication and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent wind energy experience
• Hands-on wind turbine or similar electromechanical systems in operation environments
• Ability to read electrical schematics for troubleshooting and field support
• Experience with SCADA and digital monitoring tools
• Willingness to travel up to 20% and relocate to Barcelona;EU work eligibility

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance
• Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems
• Analyze operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance
• Work on a rotating weekday shift schedule with on-call support during weekends and public holidays
