Core Code io is seeking a highly organized Staff Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations in Madrid. You will maintain accurate financial records, perform reconciliations, and assist with month-end close and reporting.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field, strong knowledge of general ledger, AP/AR, and experience with ERP systems and spreadsheets. This is a remote-friendly role with potential for hybrid work.

Formación

• Experience with general ledger maintenance and financial reporting.
• Understanding of month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

Responsabilidades

• Record and review daily financial transactions and journal entries.
• Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and supporting documentation.
• Perform reconciliations of bank, credit cards, and balance sheet accounts.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Prepare invoices, payments, expenses, and adjustments.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis as required.
• Support audits by preparing requested documentation.
