Darkroom is seeking a Social Media Manager to own day-to-day strategy and execution across a portfolio of client accounts. You’ll live inside culture and platforms, translating insights into a compelling content calendar that builds real communities, not just posting schedules.

You’ll work with Associate Directors and Directors of Creative Strategy to craft inventive briefs, manage client relationships, and ensure timely delivery.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience building “worlds” on social with distinct voice and engaged community.
• Fluent in social media metrics and able to translate them into decisions.
• Deep understanding of culture and how it moves social, beyond trends.
• Up-to-date on algorithm changes across Meta, TikTok, and Instagram.
• Strong briefing process for creative that is truly inventive.
• Experience using Sprout Social or a similar social management platform.
• Experience in product, beauty, fashion, SaaS, tech, or hospitality is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Manage day-to-day creative execution for organic social programs across a portfolio of client accounts.
• Partner with the Director of Creative Strategy to build out the social media calendar and plan.
• Brief and direct Designers and Editors on inventive, culturally-relevant content with clear feedback.
• Lead community management to actively build community and engagement.
• Write copy for social posts, tailoring tone by platform and client.
• Collaborate with creator teams on UGC briefs and execution.
• Translate platform performance data into clear creative direction and content optimization.
• Maintain high-quality output across a high volume of social content and flag risks early.
• Manage day-to-day client relationships and expectations.
• Keep accounts organized with timelines, deliverables, and workflow.
