Darkroom is seeking a self-driven Video Editor to develop marketing collateral, including video content and organic content. Your editing will help our clients grow their businesses by telling compelling stories across digital channels.

This is a fully remote role supporting a team in the EST time zone and is open to candidates based in Brazil, Portugal, and Spain. Proficiency in Premiere Pro + After Effects + Photoshop is expected, along with strong organizational and communication skills.

Formación

• Experience creating platform native content (IG Reels, Meta ads, TikTok) and organic video content.
• Excellent time management and ability to manage multiple brands.
• Strong motion graphics and typography skills.
• Proficient in Premiere Pro + FCPX and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Knowledge of codecs and transcoding; broadcast finishing workflows.
• Excellent communication and ability to work in fast-paced environment.

Responsabilidades

• Edit UGC-style videos in a variety of content formats.
• Develop and execute thumb-stopping social media edits, layer audio seamlessly and overlay text that drives key brand messaging.
• Brainstorm inventive edits and hooks that drive engagement, leverage new formats.
• Stay current on all social media platforms, ad offerings, content publishers, tools, trends, and best practices.
• Be a creative collaborator: Have the ability to be the voice of the brand and the influencer to create content that is authentic and powerful for all channels.
• Be comfortable using video editing software, editing audio, and taking editing direction, while working in a fast pace environment.
• Provide accessible content that includes closed captioning, voiceover, and overlay text in a variety of aspect ratios.
• Maintaining media storage and archiving projects.
• Coordinating and troubleshooting edit equipment.
