Job summary

Coinspaid Solutions is a fintech company building blockchain payment infrastructure for the global economy. We design, implement, and scale payment systems that connect digital assets with real-world financial operations.

Our team works remotely across multiple countries and leverages AI-assisted accounting to enhance crypto accounting. We are seeking an External Accounting Specialist to provide full-cycle accounting and reporting support for initially 3-4 entities within an international group.

Qualifications

• Relevant education in accounting, finance, economics or related field.
• Experience with full-cycle accounting, month-end and year-end closing.
• Ability to review trial balance, balance sheet, P&L, general ledger and journal entries.
• Strong experience with bank, balance-sheet, AP, AR and intercompany reconciliations.
• Ability to establish accounting processes from the ground up and restore incomplete records.
• Experience coordinating outsourced accounting providers and external auditors.
• Good understanding of accounting documentation, internal controls and audit requirements.
• Ability to work independently, manage several legal entities, prioritise tasks and meet reporting deadlines.
• Willingness to learn crypto accounting and use AI-assisted accounting and automation tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-cycle accounting and reporting support for the assigned legal entities.
• Act as the primary point of contact for external bookkeepers, accounting firms, auditors, banks, corporate service providers and other relevant parties.
• Ensure the timely exchange of accounting data, bank statements, invoices, agreements, corporate documents, and other supporting information.
• Coordinate month-end and year-end closing and ensure that external accounting providers submit complete and accurate reports within the agreed deadlines.
• Review monthly reporting packages, including the trial balance, Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss Statement, general ledger, and supporting schedules.
• Perform bank, crypto, HLB, intercompany, AP, AR, and other balance-sheet reconciliations during the onboarding and process-learning stage.
• Progress to reviewing and approving reconciliations prepared by other team members, including crypto-wallet and related account reconciliations.
• Ensure that accounting records are complete, accurate, properly documented and audit-ready.
• Coordinate and support statutory and group audits for the assigned entities, including preparation of schedules, supporting documents, reconciliations and responses to auditor requests.
• Support the automation of accounting processes, including data imports, transaction classification, reconciliations, reporting, and financial controls.
• Document completed solutions and support their implementation across the Group’s crypto entities.
• Act as a backup for the manager during periods of absence when required.
