GE Vernova is seeking a ROC Technical Lead for the Remote Operations Center (Wind Energy) in Barcelona. The role focuses on safe, efficient operation of offshore wind assets from a remote hub, spanning commissioning and service phases.

You will interface with site teams and engineering experts to diagnose and resolve issues, ensuring reliable turbine performance. The ideal candidate has a degree in engineering with hands-on wind energy experience, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in wind energy.
Hands-on experience with wind turbines or similar electromechanical systems in operational environments.
Ability to read electrical schematics and apply them in troubleshooting and field support situations.
Experience with SCADA systems and other digital monitoring tools.

Responsibilities

Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting.
Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information.
Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities.
Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
