GE Vernova is seeking a ROC Technical Lead for the Wind Remote Operations Center in Barcelona. You will monitor turbines, perform remote diagnostics, and support field teams to maintain performance and reliability.

You will collaborate with engineers and operate within a rotating shift, with occasional on-call duties during weekends and holidays. EU work eligibility and relocation to Barcelona are required.

Qualifikationen

• Engineering degree (BSc/MSc) or equivalent wind-energy experience
• Hands-on wind turbine/electromechanical experience
• Ability to read electrical schematics for troubleshooting
• Experience with SCADA and digital monitoring tools
• Strong analytical skills and clear technical communication
• Willingness to travel up to 20%
• Fluent English and EU work eligibility, relocation to Barcelona

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms
• Remote diagnostics and troubleshooting during commissioning and service
• Assist field teams to resolve issues and restore performance
• Escalate complex issues with clear technical information
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems
• Analyze operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvements
• Support reporting of technical findings
• Contribute to process improvements and optimisation
• Support grid outages, prioritising safety and compliance
• Rotating shift schedule with on-call weekends/holidays
