Job summary

GE Vernova is hiring a ROC Technical Lead for the Remote Operations Center (Wind Energy) in Barcelona. You will help monitor turbine performance, diagnose issues remotely, and support commissioning and service across the asset lifecycle.

Working with site teams and engineering experts, you will analyze data, drive improvements, and ensure safe, reliable operation. The role requires travel up to 20%, rotating weekday shifts, and relocation to Barcelona for EU eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Hands-on wind turbine or electromechanical systems experience in operation.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot.
• Experience with SCADA and digital monitoring tools.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; calm under pressure.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% and relocate to Barcelona.
• Fluent English; Spanish desired.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms.
• Provide remote diagnostics and troubleshooting support.
• Assist field teams with issue resolution.
• Escalate complex issues with clear technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams.
• Analyze operational data for faults and trends.
• Support reporting and communication of findings.
• Contribute to process improvements and optimization.
• Support grid outages when required.
• Work rotating weekday shifts with on-call weekends/holidays.
