GE Vernova is seeking a ROC Technical Lead for Remote Operations Center (Wind Energy) based in Barcelona, Spain. The role focuses on monitoring, diagnosing, and resolving turbine issues to ensure reliable offshore wind operations across commissioning and service phases.

You will work with site teams and engineering experts, analyze data, and drive improvements while handling rotating shifts and occasional on-call support. Fluency in English is essential.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent wind sector experience.
• Hands-on wind turbine experience in operational environments.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot.
• Experience with SCADA and digital monitoring tools.
• Willingness to relocate to Barcelona and EU work eligibility.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear, structured information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvements.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
• Work on rotating weekday shift schedule with on-call weekends/public holidays.
