Em%E Group is seeking a PhD Research Engineer to work remotely across electrical, mechanical and chemical disciplines. You will lead design, simulation, and validation activities for high-impact projects with cross-functional teams in a remote-first setup.

The role emphasizes developing scalable engineering solutions, data-driven optimization, and rigorous documentation for stakeholders and leadership worldwide.

Formación

• PhD in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Proven experience in applied research, system design, or process optimization.
• Strong proficiency with simulation tools such as COMSOL, ANSYS, MATLAB or SPICE.
• Ability to translate theory into scalable engineering solutions and document results.

Responsabilidades

• Design, simulate, and validate electrical, mechanical, or chemical systems.
• Conduct theoretical modeling and experimental validation for performance.
• Develop algorithms or processes to improve efficiency and scalability.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations for stakeholders.
• Provide expert troubleshooting and optimization recommendations.
