Bark is looking for a Backend Engineer to join our remote Spain-based team. You’ll build scalable Python services, APIs and data stores, helping our marketplace handle increasing demand and provide personalized experiences.

You’ll work with modern stacks, Docker/Kubernetes in production, and collaborate with product and other engineers to deliver robust features at scale, including AI-assisted analytics and high-traffic integrations.

Formación

• Production Python experience required.

Responsabilidades

• Conceptualise and implement software solutions with development teams.
• Build elegant and performant APIs and handlers.
• Develop and manage datastores and services.
• Proactively propose and implement codebase improvements.
• Mentor other engineers to support growth.
• Design and code high-volume transaction systems.
• Collaborate with other departments to evolve the product.
