Boolanga is seeking a Product Designer & Developer for physical products. You will translate business needs into development briefs, balance functionality with cost, and create technical docs and BOMs.

You’ll coordinate prototypes with international suppliers and drive product testing and pilot programs. The role requires a portfolio, hands-on prototyping, and experience across bags, protective gear, and connected delivery products.

Formación

• 3+ years of experience in physical product design and development.
• Experience with international suppliers and manufacturing partners.
• Ability to produce clear technical documentation (specs, BOMs, tech packs).
• Portfolio showing process from research to prototyping and production-readiness.

Responsabilidades

• Translate business and user needs into product development briefs.
• Develop concepts balancing functionality, cost and manufacturability.
• Create specs, BOMs, tech packs and development documents.
• Coordinate prototypes, samples and pre-production with suppliers.
• Plan testing, validation and pilot implementation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across procurement, supply chain and sales.
