Boolanga is seeking a Product Designer & Developer - Physical Products to join our Product Design & Development team in Barcelona. This on-site role combines user research, concept development and hands-on prototyping across bags, workwear and related gear.

You'll own technical documentation, coordinate with international suppliers and production partners, and drive cost-aware, manufacturable solutions. English required; Spanish helpful.

Formación

• 3+ years of experience in physical product design and development.
• Experience across soft goods, bags, workwear, or protective products.
• Hands-on with international suppliers and manufacturing partners.
• Able to produce clear technical documentation (specs, BOMs, tech packs).
• Structured problem-solver with English proficiency and clear communication.
• Experience with PLM/product-data-management.

Responsabilidades

• Translate business and user needs into product-development briefs.
• Develop concepts balancing function, user needs, cost and manufacturability.
• Create technical specs, BOMs, tech packs and docs.
• Maintain product data in PLM system.
• Coordinate prototypes and pre-production with suppliers.
• Review quotations, materials, costs and options.
• Assess prototypes, identify quality issues and corrective actions.
• Plan and support testing, validation and pilots.
• Conduct structured user, market and competitor research.
• Turn research into clear recommendations and development plans.
• Take ownership of projects and communicate progress and risks.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Supply Chain, Sales, IT and others.
