Grafana Labs is hiring for a remote Platform Engineer to build and operate the new Foundation’s Metal squad. You’ll own the bare-metal to Kubernetes lifecycle, networking, autoscaling, and CSP resource tooling, collaborating with global Grafana Cloud teams.

The role emphasizes distributed systems expertise, Go/Python coding, and Terraform/Crossplane experience, with RSUs as part of compensation and a 30-day annual leave policy.

Formación

• Experience building and operating distributed systems in production environments.
• Strong Go/Python coding skills and scripting in Shell.
• Hands-on Kubernetes administration and platform engineering experience.
• Comfortable working in a remote-first, highly collaborative environment.
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform and Crossplane.

Responsabilidades

• Manage physical Metal environment from bare metal to Kubernetes.
• Administer cluster networking: load balancing, NAT, DNS, CNIs, cross-cluster communication, routing.
• Handle scheduling and autoscaling for workloads.
• Maintain Crossplane compositions and Terraform modules for CSP resources and providers.
• Collaborate with Grafana Cloud application teams to align capabilities with needs.
