Grafana Labs, the company behind the open observability cloud, is hiring a Backend Engineer for the Platform - Stacks team. This role focuses on building and operating the AppCore Stack systems that power Grafana Cloud, including stack state reconciliation and provisioning across regions.

You will collaborate across product, platform, and business operations, improve deployment workflows, and contribute to reliability, scalability, and developer experience.

Formación

• At least 1 year of fully remote work experience.
• Experience with SaaS platforms and distributed systems concepts.
• Professional Golang experience.
• Comfort collaborating asynchronously across time zones.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and operate stack reconciliation and state management.
• Collaborate across SSS, grafana.com, and deployment configs for reliable workflows.
• Reduce deployment complexity and contribute to Stack Config Reconciliation.
• Manage rollout mechanisms for plugins, dashboards, data sources, and versions.
• Support regional rollouts and safe stack onboarding in Grafana Cloud.
• Improve incident response and recovery paths for stack issues.
• Partner with product, Hosted Grafana, Infrastructure, and other squads.
• Contribute to roadmap, design, OnCall improvements, and simplification.
• Own production behavior: runbooks, dashboards, alerts, and rollouts.
