Job summary

UST is seeking a Java Technical Lead to guide a development team on a global banking/fintech project. You will set coding standards, mentor juniors, and drive end-to-end software delivery in a remote Spain setup, contributing to API design and scalable architectures.

Strong Java expertise, experience with SOA/MSA, REST APIs, and AWS services are essential, along with practical knowledge of Gradle/Maven and Jenkins in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Strong Java programming skills and API development experience.
• Experience with distributed architectures and microservices.
• Deep understanding of SDLC, design patterns and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development team to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software.
• Set coding standards, best practices, and ensure adherence to them.
• Mentor and coach junior developers to enhance skills and performance.
• Provide technical guidance and support to the team.
• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable software.
• Own and operate the delivered software within a DevOps model to ensure stability.
