Job summary

UST is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Java & Spring) to build scalable, cloud-native applications in a collaborative Agile and DevOps environment, joining a strategic banking project in Madrid.

Hybrid model requires attendance at central Madrid offices 3 days per week; you will design, develop, test, deploy, and monitor business-critical services, develop RESTful APIs, and contribute to CI/CD with Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Strong Java and Spring Boot skills with cloud-native mindset.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and service-oriented architectures.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate within cross-functional Agile teams following a DevOps-centric delivery model.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, release, and monitor business-critical applications.
• Participate in code reviews and promote software quality practices.
• Work with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver valuable solutions.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and service-oriented solutions.
• Deploy and manage applications in Kubernetes-based environments.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and automated testing strategies.
