Job summary
Merck Healthcare seeks an experienced Product Owner to drive the digital, data, analytics, and AI-enabled GVAP portfolio. You will translate business priorities into scalable capabilities, align with IT, Data and AI teams, and partner with external collaborators to deliver measurable impact.
You will shape the roadmap, manage priorities, and advocate for responsible AI, data governance, and enterprise standards across global teams.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in digital or IT product ownership, software delivery, or data/product delivery.
- Experience in pharma, life sciences, or healthcare with exposure to market access or value strategy is a plus.
- Strong track record as a Product Owner in digital/data/AI-enabled products and agile environments.
- Experience coordinating delivery across software, data, analytics, and AI teams.
Responsibilities
- Define and evolve the product vision and roadmap across digital, data, analytics, and AI-enabled solutions (GenAI/Agentic AI).
- Lead discovery with stakeholders to identify high-value opportunities and support adoption globally.
- Own and prioritize the product backlog, translate insights into user stories, drive sprint planning.
- Coordinate delivery across internal teams and external partners with clear priorities and timelines.
- Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, Responsible AI, Cybersecurity, Data Privacy, and Compliance teams to ensure scalable, compliant solutions.
- Monitor adoption and value against metrics like efficiency gains and stakeholder satisfaction.
