Job summary

Veeva Systems is seeking a Product Owner to shape an emerging product and lead the engineering team's priorities from idea through launch. You will translate customer needs into capabilities and work with product, engineering, design, and data teams to deliver meaningful, AI-powered features.

You will own backlog priorities, partner across teams, and directly engage customers to understand workflows and measure impact on adoption and outcomes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager delivering software products.
• Experience owning a backlog, prioritizing work, and partnering closely with engineers to ship features.
• Strong product judgment and the ability to turn ambiguous problems into clear, actionable requirements.
• Technical fluency: comfortable discussing APIs, data flows, and implementation tradeoffs with engineering.
• Clear communication and a collaborative approach to working across teams.
• Curiosity about customer problems and a willingness to learn a complex industry.

Responsibilities

• Lead product delivery for the engineering team, setting clear priorities and taking features from discovery through launch and iteration.
• Translate customer needs into clear requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria, making thoughtful trade offs across value, usability, and technical complexity.
• Partner with engineering, design, and data teams to build intuitive features from complex healthcare information, including medical claims data.
• Help develop AI-powered capabilities, collaborating on prompts, evaluation, and the quality of customer-facing outputs.
• Use product analytics and customer feedback to measure success, improve adoption, and guide what we build next.
• Engage directly with customers to understand their workflows, validate ideas, and refine newly released features.
