Job summary

Roche is seeking a Technical Product Owner to own assigned modules in the Data Computation Platform. You will bridge platform vision with hands-on development, translating business requirements into robust technical designs and driving fast, reliable digital delivery.

Your work spans open-source analytics to GxP-validated apps, collaborating with validation specialists on compliance. Strong Agile leadership and stakeholder communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, technical product ownership, or solution architecture.
• Strong software development background in Python, R, C# or modern JS frameworks.
• Experience with microservices, RESTful APIs, relational data modeling, and containerization.
• Familiarity with pharmaceutical GxP regulations, 21 CFR Part 11, Data Integrity, or CSV workflows.
• Proven success leading engineering teams and managing backlogs in Agile environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the technical vision, architecture, and release roadmaps for modules.
• Translate requirements into technical user stories and manage sprint backlogs using Scrum or SAFe.
• Lead module design, microservices, containerization, and API integrations with data sources.
• Oversee CI/CD pipelines, system health, and Tier-3 technical support escalations.
• Partner with CSV teams on validated modules to align test cases and deployments.
• Collaborate with peers and provide technical support across modules when needed.
