Job summary

IQVIA is seeking an HTA-focused Programmer (SAS & R) to support health technology assessment and market access activities in Germany. The role targets biostatisticians or data scientists with a strong statistical programming background and interest in reimbursement decisions.

The position involves statistical programming, data analysis of clinical trials, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure robust, auditable outputs. Fluent German and English are essential.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in biostatistics, data science, or a related field.
• Initial experience in HTA, AMNOG, HEOR, or Market Access (industry, consultancy, or research institute preferred).
• Solid understanding of clinical study designs, endpoints, and statistical principles.
• Familiarity with clinical study data and CDISC SDTM/ADaM standards.
• Familiarity with the German AMNOG process, IQWiG methodology, or G‑BA procedures is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to German AMNOG dossiers, focusing on programming analyses for Module 4.
• Analyze clinical trial data for efficacy, safety, endpoints, and subgroups.
• Perform meta-analyses and indirect comparisons; support interpretation of outputs.
• Automate and standardize analysis workflows for efficiency and reproducibility.
• Collaborate with Market Access, HEOR, Medical Affairs, and EU-HTA teams.
• Ensure scientific quality and clarity of outcomes.
• Monitor developments from IQWiG, G BA, and HTA bodies.
