Job summary

IQVIA is seeking a Programmer (SAS & R) with German to support health technology assessment and market access activities in Germany. The role targets biostatisticians or data scientists with a strong statistical programming background and interest in reimbursement decision-making.

The position involves developing German AMNOG dossiers, performing analyses of clinical trial data, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in a hybrid Spain-based setting.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in biostatistics, data science, or a related field.
• Initial experience in HTA, AMNOG, HEOR, or Market Access and/or clinical development.
• Solid understanding of clinical study designs, endpoints, and statistical principles.
• Familiarity with CDISC SDTM/ADaM and German AMNOG process is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of German AMNOG dossiers, focusing on programming of statistical analyses for Module 4.
• Analyze clinical trial data for efficacy, safety and patient-relevant endpoints; include subgroup analyses.
• Perform meta-analyses and indirect treatment comparisons; support interpretation of outputs.
• Automate and standardize analysis workflows for efficiency and reproducibility.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Market Access, HEOR, Medical Affairs, EU-HTA Team).
• Ensure scientific quality and clarity of results.
• Monitor methodological developments from IQWiG, G BA, and HTA bodies.
